Nurturing Confident, Caring and Curious children is what we do. Sunflower House Nursery recognises that each child is a unique individual. We work in partnership and alongside parents/carers to encourage their child to learn through play. We incorporate the EYFS development matters and the characteristics of effective learning in daily routine and play activities.

Sunflower House Nursery has a key worker system in place that will profile your child through observations and then individually plan for your child’s development so they can move forward onto the next stage of their individual development, in a secure and confidence-building way. To encourage each child to reach their full potential. Sunflower House Nursery has a committed ethos in supporting children to develop morally, which will support that child to become self-respecting, confident and social individuals. We believe Children are unique and individual and deserve to be loved, cherished and nurtured.
Sunflower House Nursery believes that excellent nursery education helps very young learners to become stimulated and excited by the fun of learning through play, which supports a positive life-long attitude to learning and succeeding. Sunflower House Nursery believes by investing in our staff, through training and support we are empowering them to be the best they can be and we will continue to build a committed, happy and overall effective team.
Through play, our team will promote each individual child’s learning and interests and acknowledge the huge impact that active learning has on children’s development and the importance of the outdoors. Outdoor play focuses highly on our day to day practice as we consider that natural environments and outdoor play greatly enhances children’s development and behaviour.
We provide a fully inclusive provision at Sunflower House Nursery where all children and families are welcome. By working with Multi-Agencies and professionals we aim to meet the needs of every child.
